General Neurology, MS Clinic Of New England, Sylvia Lawry MS Fellowship Trained
Dr. Salvatore Napoli is a board-certified neurologist who specializes in Multiple Sclerosis, as well as General Neurology. He received a Bachelor in Arts in Biology and Italian Studies at Siena College in Loudonville New York and the American University in Rome. He completed medical school and his neurology residency at Albany Medical College and Center in Albany, New York. He then did a fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis/Neuroimmunology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital/ Harvard Program in 2003. He was an Instructor in Neurology at Harvard Medical School and received the prestigious Sylvia Lawry Fellowship from the National MS Society. He was on staff at the Brigham and Women’s Neurology Department in 2006 through 2008. He also completed a fellowship in EMG/Neurophysiology at the St. Elizabeth’s Tufts Neurology Program in 2007.
In 2007, Dr. Napoli started a Neurology and MS program in Norwood Hospital through Caritas Christi Healthcare and Steward Healthcare. Dr. Napoli then moved his practice to Foxboro, Massachusetts.
He started the Neuro Institute of New England and MS Clinic of New England in May 2013 in Foxboro, Massachusetts. The goal is to provide up to date, compassionate academic care for the community as well as provide the most up to date research for all neurology patients. Dr. Napoli believes that all patients should be treated as if they were members of one own’s family and hopes to integrate both medical and non-medical treatments to the care of those with chronic neurologic illnesses. Dr. Napoli’s clinical interests include Multiple Sclerosis, MS and Neurology Research, headache, and general neurology.
